One of the perks of being a photographer is having a first hand immersion into matters humanitarian, advocacy, and even policy.
On the 13th and 14th of November, 2025 I was elated to be part of the team documenting the launch of the European Union - Kenya Partnership between the said governments and CSOs in a high-level meeting, convened by SDG Partnership Platform Kenya and partners: FEMNET - African Women's Development and Communication Network and WECF International.
It was great to hear perspectives from National Treasury Kenya representative Anyiga Baldwin, the National Gender Equality Commission (NGEC) and State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action representatives on Gender Responsiveness. GRB remains a key tool towards achieving Gender Equality and Equity by ensuring the needs of men and Women and their sub-categories are incorporated throughout the budget process.
